Job summary

Select Medical in Lake St. Louis is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to greet patients, register them, and support both front desk and administrative tasks at our outpatient physical therapy center.

This full-time role features a Monday–Friday schedule, $18 hourly compensation with increases based on experience, and a benefits package including PTO, medical plans, and a 401(k). Join a team focused on delivering an exceptional patient experience from check-in through visit follow-up.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: 1 year front desk experience.
• Preferred: healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about their visit and next appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Communicate with attorneys' offices, insurance companies, translation services, market leaders and business development teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.
