Job summary

Select Medical in Saint Peters, MO, is hiring a Patient Service Specialist for our outpatient PT center. You will greet patients, register them, schedule visits, and handle co-pays and insurance verifications at the front desk.

The role is full-time with a Monday–Friday schedule and 40 hours/week. Competitive hourly pay starts at $18/hour, with increases based on experience, plus strong benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year front desk experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and explain what to expect during visits and next appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Coordinate with insurance companies, translation services, market ops, and business development teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and perform insurance verifications and authorizations.

Schedule:

Monday- Friday. 40 hours between the hours of 7:30-6:30

Compensation:$18/hour- Increases based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Regular communication with parties such as insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

• 1 Year Front Desk experience
• Healthcare experience
