Job summary

Select Medical is seeking a Patient Service Specialist for split locations in Colorado Springs. You will greet patients, register them, schedule appointments, and assist with co-pays and insurance verifications to ensure smooth visits.

This full-time role (Mon-Fri) offers mentorship, generous PTO, comprehensive medical/dental/vision, and a 401(k) plan. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred to support a diverse patient base across a national network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of front desk experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and next appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Coordinate with attorneys, insurance companies, translation companies, market leaders, and business development team.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance verifications.

Type of Employment:Full-time

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Compensation:$19.00 - $20.00 (based on experience)

• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 Year of Front Desk Experience

Preferred:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish Speaking)
• Healthcare experience
