Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Patient Service Specialist at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon- Ronnie's Plaza to warmly welcome patients, register them at check-in, and guide them through the visit experience.

This full-time role requires scheduling, handling co-pays, and coordinating with insurers, translation services, and care teams. The position offers an $18/hour base with experience-based increases; schedule runs 7 AM–7 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year front desk experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients, inform about visits and next appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Maintain regular communication with insurance companies and internal teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Position: Patient Service Specialist

Location: SSM Health Cardinal Glennon- Ronnie's Plaza

Type of Employment: Full-time

Schedule: Schedule will be between the hours of 7 AM and 7 PM.

Monday - 10 hours

Tuesday - 5 hours

Wednesday - 10 hours

Thursday - 5 hours

Friday - 10 hours

Compensation: $18/hour- Increases based on experience.

• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications
