Job summary

Select Medical in West Florissant, MO is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to greet patients, register them, and guide them through their visit and next steps. You will schedule appointments, handle co-pays, and support interactions with insurance providers and allied teams.

The role emphasizes patient experience at the front desk, cross-functional communication, and accuracy in verification and authorization processes. Full-time, on-site, with benefits available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year front desk experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and about their next appointment as they check out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Maintain regular communication with insurance companies, translation services, market operational leaders, and the business development team.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Position:Patient Service Specialist

Location: West Florissant, MO

Type of Employment:Full-time

Schedule: Monday-Friday- 8 Hour Days-Between the hours of 7A and 7P.

Compensation:$18.00/hour- Increases based on experience.
