Responsibilities include scanning records, scheduling follow-ups, and handling cash/co-pays. Strong customer service, organization, and confidentiality are essential in a fast-paced dermatology setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of medical office or similar experience preferred.
• Proficient in basic computer functions; fast learner.

Responsibilities

• Performs opening and closing clinic duties.
• Greets patients, checks in for appointments and verifies insurance.
• Scans documents into electronic health record.
• Maintains tidiness of waiting area and reception counter.
• Checks schedules for added, canceled and no-show appointments.
• Schedules follow-up appointments as needed.
• Responds to designated tasks in the electronic health record.
• Orders clinic office supplies.
• Sells and tracks cosmetic products.
• Distributes mail.
• Prepares for next day scheduled appointments.
