Job summary

University Physicians Association is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time Patient Service Rep position located at University Palliative Care inside the UT Medical Center - Cancer Institute.   • Coordinate patient flow to ensure efficient clinic operations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between patients and providers, documenting patient communications in the electronic medical record (Cerner)
  • Respond to patient inquiries and schedule appointments, referrals, and follow-up visits.
  • Monitor test results, process medication prior authorizations, and coordinate follow-up care as needed.
  • Track and report clinical and operational metrics, including patient volumes, appointment no-shows, and documentation turnaround times.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, manage office supplies, and support daily administrative operations.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to optimize workflows and enhance the patient experience.
  • Participate in team meetings, ongoing training, and other duties as assigned by the Office Supervisor
