Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative (PSR) Float to provide front office coverage across multiple practice locations. This role requires flexibility and the ability to travel between sites, ensuring seamless patient service throughout the organization.

You will greet patients, handle check-ins/outs, schedule testing, manage referrals, and collect co-pays while maintaining HIPAA compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Windows-based office applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients, visitors, and customers in a professional and compassionate manner.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and provide general information.
• Perform patient check-in and check-out functions.
• Schedule appointments and requested testing.
• Enter and track referrals.
• Verify and update patient demographic and registration information.
• Collect and process co-pays and daily payment batches accurately.
• Scan and index documentation into the electronic medical record.
• Provide coverage for multiple practice locations, including weekend and holiday rotations as needed.
• Support Patient Centered Medical Home initiatives and other special projects.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies and procedures.
