Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative (PSR) Float to provide front office coverage across multiple practice locations in New Hampshire. The role requires travel between sites, including weekends/holidays, to ensure smooth operations and excellent patient service.

The PSR Float will greet patients, handle check-ins/outs, schedule tests, verify demographics, process co-pays, and maintain HIPAA compliance while supporting initiatives across the Patient Centered

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Windows-based office applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Caring and compassionate customer service approach.
• Flexibility to travel to and work from various Southern New Hampshire Health practice locations.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different offices, teams, and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients, visitors, and customers in a professional and compassionate manner.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and provide general information.
• Perform patient check-in and check-out functions.
• Schedule appointments and requested testing.
• Enter and track referrals.
• Verify and update patient demographic and registration information.
• Collect and process co-pays and daily payment batches accurately.
• Scan and index documentation into the electronic medical record.
• Provide coverage for multiple practice locations, including weekend and holiday rotations as needed.
• Support Patient Centered Medical Home initiatives and other special projects.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies and procedures.
