Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative Float to provide front office coverage across multiple practice locations. Travel between sites is required, ensuring seamless patient check-in/out, scheduling, payments, and referrals.

You are detail-oriented, customer-service driven, and capable of adapting to different offices and teams while maintaining HIPAA compliance and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of customer service experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Windows-based office applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Caring and compassionate customer service approach.
• Flexibility to travel to and work from various Southern New Hampshire Health practice locations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients, visitors, and customers in a professional and compassionate manner
• Answer incoming telephone calls and provide general information
• Perform patient check-in and check-out functions
• Schedule appointments and requested testing
• Enter and track referrals
• Verify and update patient demographic and registration information
• Collect and process co-pays and daily payment batches accurately
• Scan and index documentation into the electronic medical record
• Provide coverage for multiple practice locations, including weekend and holiday rotations as needed
• Support Patient Centered Medical Home initiatives and other special projects
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies and procedures
