Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative Float to provide front office coverage across multiple practices. You will greet patients, check them in/out, schedule appointments, collect co-pays, and ensure accurate registration while traveling between locations.

This role requires flexibility, driving between sites, weekend/holiday rotations, HIPAA compliance, and a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Windows-based office applications.
• Ability to travel between multiple practice locations.
• Caring and compassionate customer service approach.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients, visitors, and customers in a professional manner.
• Answer incoming calls and provide general information.
• Perform patient check-in and check-out functions.
• Schedule appointments and testing.
• Enter and track referrals and update demographic information.
• Collect co-pays and daily payment batches accurately.
• Scan and index documents into the EMR.
• Provide coverage for multiple locations, including weekends/holidays.
• Support care initiatives and HIPAA compliance.
