Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative (PSR) Float to provide front office coverage across multiple practice locations in New Hampshire. This role requires travel between sites and occasional weekend/holiday coverage to ensure smooth patient flow and excellent service.

The PSR Float will greet patients, handle registrations, schedule appointments, collect co-pays, and support EMR documentation while upholding HIPAA and organizational policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Windows-based office applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Caring and compassionate customer service approach.
• Flexibility to travel to and work from various Southern New Hampshire Health practice locations.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different offices, teams, and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients, visitors, and customers in a professional and compassionate manner
• Answer incoming telephone calls and provide general information
• Perform patient check-in and check-out functions
• Schedule appointments and requested testing
• Enter and track referrals
• Verify and update patient demographic and registration information
• Collect and process co-pays and daily payment batches accurately
• Scan and index documentation into the electronic medical record
• Provide coverage for multiple practice locations, including weekend and holiday rotations as needed
• Support Patient Centered Medical Home initiatives and other special projects
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies and procedures
