Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative (PSR) Float to provide front office coverage across multiple practice locations in New Hampshire. This role requires travel between sites and weekend/holiday rotations, ensuring seamless operations and excellent patient service.

The PSR Float handles patient check-in/out, scheduling, referrals, payments, and HIPAA compliance while delivering compassionate, detail-oriented support across the network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Windows-based office applications.
• Ability to travel between multiple practice locations.

Responsibilities

• Greet, direct, and assist patients, visitors, and customers in a professional manner.
• Answer phone calls and provide general information.
• Check-in and check-out patients; schedule appointments and testing.
• Enter and track referrals; verify and update demographics.
• Collect co-pays; process daily payment batches accurately.
• Scan and index documents into the EMR system.
• Provide coverage across multiple practice locations, including weekends and holidays.
• Support Patient Centered Medical Home initiatives and other projects.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and organizational policies.
