Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative Float to provide front office coverage across multiple practice locations in New Hampshire. The role requires travel between sites with weekend and holiday rotations as needed.

You will greet patients, answer calls, manage check-in/check-out, schedule appointments, enter referrals, verify demographics, and process co-pays, while ensuring accurate EMR documentation and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Windows-based office applications.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Flexible to travel between multiple practice locations.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients, visitors, and customers professionally.
• Answer incoming calls and provide general information.
• Perform patient check-in and check-out functions.
• Schedule appointments and requested testing.
• Enter and track referrals.
• Verify and update patient demographics and registration.
• Collect and process co-pays and daily payment batches.
• Scan and index documents into the EMR.
• Provide coverage for multiple locations, including weekends/holidays.
• Support Patient Centered Medical Home initiatives.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and organizational policies.
