Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual language skills may be required or preferred by site.
• Typing at least 55 wpm and strong computer proficiency.
• Experience in high-volume service environments is preferred.
• Ability to interact professionally with physicians, patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to the practice.
• Register patients and coordinate intake and appointments.
• Enter/update patient information in the system accurately.
• Assist patients with paperwork and scanning/filing records.
• Answer phone calls and respond to questions promptly.
• Verify insurance details and liaise with Billing as needed.
• Handle cash and co-pays accurately and responsibly.
• Provide outstanding customer service to every patient.
• Inform site manager of wait times and inquiries.
