Job summary

Summit Health Management is seeking a Patient Service Representative to warmly welcome patients at CityMD locations. You will register patients, coordinate intake, verify insurance, and handle payments while delivering courteous, efficient service in a fast-paced setting.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, documentation of medical records, and collaboration with the Billing team to resolve questions. Bilingual skills may be required depending on site.

Qualifications

• A High School Degree or GED.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience in high-volume/high-intensity service industry preferred.
• Detail-oriented and a team player.
• Flexible/adaptable nature to evolving environment.
• Bilingual language skills based on site location.
• Ability to effectively interact with physicians, patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and welcoming patients.
• Organizing and coordinating patient in-take and appointments.
• Accurately entering/updating patient information in system.
• Assisting patients with completion of paperwork when necessary.
• Scanning, updating and filing medical records.
• Answering phone calls in a prompt and polite manner.
• Processing medical insurance information and verifying eligibility.
• Handling cash and co-payments accurately and responsibly.
• Providing outstanding customer service to every patient.
• Informing site manager of waiting room wait times and inquiries.
