Summit Health in Syosset, NY is seeking a Patient Service Representative to warmly welcome patients at CityMD locations, register patients, and coordinate with the team for timely service. You will respond to questions with urgency and kindness, handling paperwork for patient registration.

This role requires high school or GED, fast, accurate data entry, and strong communication skills. On-site position with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits is offered.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in high-volume service environment preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and a team player.
• Proficient computer skills and 55 wpm typing.

Responsabilidades

• Greeting and welcoming patients.
• Coordinate patient intake and appointments.
• Enter/update patient information in system.
• Assist patients with paperwork.
• Scan, update and file medical records.
• Answer calls in a prompt, polite manner.
• Verify insurance eligibility and liaise with Billing.
• Handle cash and co-payments.
• Provide outstanding patient service.
• Notify site manager of wait times and inquiries.
