Job summary

Summit Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative (PSR) to warmly welcome patients at CityMD locations and provide exemplary customer service. You will register patients, coordinate with the team, and ensure timely patient turnaround, responding to questions with urgency and kindness.

The role requires accurate data entry, insurance verification, and effective communication with physicians and staff. A high school diploma and a patient‑centered attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume/high-intensity service environments preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with patients and staff.
• Detail-oriented and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients in person and over the phone.
• Organize patient check-in and appointment intake processes.
• Enter/update patient information in the system accurately.
• Assist patients with paperwork and document handling.
• Scan and file medical records; keep records current.
• Answer questions promptly and politely; manage calls efficiently.
• Verify insurance information and assist with eligibility questions.
• Handle co-payments and cash processing accurately.
• Provide outstanding customer service to all patients.
• Inform site management of wait times and inquiries.
