Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to deliver personalized patient experiences at the front desk during check in/out. You will learn about insurance options, verify coverage, and support appointment confirmations in coordination with doctors.

You’ll manage multiple phone lines, greet patients, schedule appointments, and assist office staff. Some weekend/evening shifts are required to ensure seamless care for our patients.

Qualifications

• Experience at a front desk, reception, or customer-facing role.
• Organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks under pressure.
• Friendly, patient-centric and collaborative.
• Proficient with computers and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients a personalized check in/out process experience.
• Become a subject matter expert in insurance plans to verify options for patients.
• Assist in appointment confirmations and patient outreach in partnership with Doctor availability.
• Be a multitasker by managing multiple phone lines, greeting patients and walk-ins, scheduling appointments and assisting office staff duties as needed.
• Have the ability to cross train to other office support roles such as Eyewear Consultants and Optometric Technicians.
• Collaborate with doctor(s) and team members to provide seamless patient experience.
