Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to manage front desk operations, check-in/out, and patient communications. Training will be provided to learn about our vision care services and insurance options, ensuring a best-in-class patient experience.

The role requires adaptability to a fast-paced environment, with occasional weekend/evening shifts. You will collaborate with doctors and staff to deliver high-quality care and service to our patients.

Qualifications

• Front desk or reception experience in a customer-facing role.
• Strong organization and multitasking abilities under pressure.
• Able to learn and verify insurance options during check-in/out.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Friendly, patient-centric, and team-oriented.
• Professional attitude with problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized check-in/out experience for patients.
• Verify and educate patients on insurance options at check-in/out.
• Assist with appointment confirmations and patient outreach with Doctor availability.
• Manage multiple phone lines, greet walk-ins, schedule appointments, and assist staff as needed.
• Cross-train to related roles such as Eyewear Consultants or Optometric Technicians where needed.
• Collaborate with doctors and team for a seamless patient experience.
