Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to join our front desk team, delivering personalized check-in/out experiences and coordinating appointments with trained staff. You will learn insurance verification, patient outreach, and office workflows to ensure a smooth, friendly visit for every patient.

This role reports to the Office General Manager, requires some weekend/evening shifts, and offers training to learn the vision care industry while helping patients see their best lives.

Qualifications

• Experience in a front desk, reception or customer-facing role in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple duties with a patient-first approach.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills suitable for a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients a personalized check in/out experience with a timely, seamless process
• Verify insurance and educate patients on options at check in/out
• Assist in appointment confirmations and patient outreach in coordination with Doctor availability
• Manage multiple phone lines, greet patients and walk-ins, schedule appointments
• Support other office staff duties and cross-train to related roles as needed
• Collaborate with doctors and team to ensure a seamless patient experience
