Job summary

Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) is hiring a Patient Service Representative to act as a liaison between patients and medical staff, greeting and directing patients and visitors. You will enter demographics, insurance data, and collect payments at check-in/out or when scheduling.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus 1–3 months of related experience; 1–2 years in a medical office is preferred. Shift is day hours, hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required (or equivalent).
• 1–3 months of related experience and/or training accepted in lieu of experience.
• One to two-year experience in a medical office setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner.
• Enter patient demographics and insurance information; collect payments upon check-in/out or when scheduling an appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments for established and new patients as appropriate.
• Answer phones, take messages, and provide accurate information as needed.
• Maintain the lobby in a neat and orderly manner and coordinate the physicians’ schedules.
