Job summary

MidLantic Urology is seeking a Patient Service Representative I to deliver excellent patient service both by phone and in person. You will manage front desk operations, register patients, collect payments, verify insurance, and coordinate scheduling to ensure a smooth patient flow.

Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of customer service experience, experience in a medical office, and familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of customer service experience required.
• Experience in a medical office preferred, urology background beneficial.
• Basic understanding of CPT coding and ICD-10 coding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and greets patients and visitors by phone or in person.
• Registers new patients and updates demographics and insurance information.
• Schedules appointments and coordinates intake and checkout processes.
• Collects co-payments, deductibles, and outstanding balances.
• Verifies insurance information and obtains referrals when required.
• Maintains organized front desk and accurate patient records.
