Job summary

Prometheus Federal Services is seeking a Medical Support Assistant for on-site work at the Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic in San Bruno, CA. You will manage appointment scheduling, greet patients, and handle front desk duties using CPRS and related systems.

The role requires 6 months clerical and scheduling experience, fluent English, and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools. A security clearance and ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months clerical experience and 6 months scheduling software experience.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Proficient with Excel, Outlook and Word; able to use medical systems.
• Able to pass a NACI background check and obtain public trust.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and perform front desk duties at VA clinic.
• Answer phone calls promptly for scheduling requests.
• Coordinate with Lead Scheduler to ensure timely communications.
• Maintain professional VA representation and quality customer service.
