Actalent is hiring a Patient Coordinator to support a busy healthcare call center in Wallingford, CT. The role involves handling 75+ inbound calls daily, scheduling and updating patient appointments, and documenting interactions in Epic EMR.

You will work a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., ensuring top-notch patient service and accurate data entry while collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to maintain high-quality patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience handling 75+ inbound patient calls daily.
• Experience with medical scheduling workflows in healthcare.
• Strong verbal communication and professional patient interactions.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced call center environment.

Responsabilités

• Answer and manage 75+ inbound patient calls daily with empathy and professionalism.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments accurately.
• Document interactions in Epic EMR and update registration/scheduling data in real time.
• Provide outstanding customer service with a calm, patient-focused demeanor.
• Route calls to appropriate clinical or administrative staff as needed.
