Job summary

ProHealth Physicians, part of the Optum family, has an immediate opening for an Associate Patient Care Coordinator to join our Primary Care team in Tolland, CT. This full-time role supports the care team by greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and using the EHR per policy.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8:30 AM–5 PM) with one late night per week until 6 PM. Pay ranges from $16 to $29 per hour and benefits are included for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of receptionist or customer service experience.
• Intermediate level of computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct check-in and check-out processes for patients.
• Answer incoming calls and document details in the EHR.
• Schedule appointments using standard protocols and manage workflows.
• Balance payments and prepare deposits when needed.
• Provide coverage at other ProHealth locations as required.
