Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a scheduling specialist to manage daily patient and physician scheduling, coordinating labs, diagnostic orders, and appointments using our Practice Management system, while ensuring confidentiality.

You will confirm appointments, scan orders into the EMR, balance logs, and maintain efficient room utilization with a focus on patient satisfaction and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience required.
• Medical office experience and 1 year scheduling experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Knowledge of HIPAA privacy requirements.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily patient and physician scheduling using Practice Management system for labs and orders.
• Schedule doctor visits, follow-ups, and procedures to optimize satisfaction, provider time and room utilization.
• Confirm appointments and scan orders into the EMR.
• Assignments may be confidential and require judgment and discretion at all times.
