Job summary

Duke Health is seeking an onsite Patient Account Team Lead in Raleigh, NC to oversee registration and financial counseling activities within the hospital revenue cycle. You will coordinate with the Service Access Manager and ensure adherence to policies while supporting the FCC team.

You’ll coach FCCs, supervise daily tasks, and help maintain accurate billing, patient privacy, and regulatory compliance across shifts. This role emphasizes leadership in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; college preferred.
• 4–5 years’ experience; 2–3 years as FCC or similar.
• Strong verbal and written communication; customer service focus.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient registration and financial counseling activities.
• Provide real-time coaching and feedback to FCCs.
• Support Service Access Manager when unavailable.
• Monitor daily hospital work queues and performance metrics.
