Peoples Community Health Clinic (PCHC) seeks a Patient Registration/Scheduling Representative to register and schedule appointments, and provide intake services for new patients. You will manage patient flow, collect demographic and financial information, and document interactions within the EHR system.

The role requires strong communication, customer service experience, and proficiency with MS Office and data privacy.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year medical office or customer service experience.
• Completion of Nurse Aide I course, Medical Assistant program, or 1 year direct care in medical office preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year patient care or medical terminology experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Manages incoming phone calls and patient flow into the clinic.
• Schedules patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Uses required techniques to interview patient or designee to obtain demographic and financial information to create medical records.
• Documents phone calls and routes to appropriate department; provides intake services for new patients.
• Maintains privacy and security of patient information; adheres to clinic policies.
