Job summary

Henry Community Health is seeking an administrative registration role to interview incoming patients or representatives, gather and record essential information for registration, and distribute documents to relevant departments. The position may involve obtaining signed statements and ensuring precertification for outpatient services when applicable.

It also provides support to switchboard operators and lobby managers.

Qualifications

• Proficient typing skills.
• Above average spelling ability, good communication skills and use of good judgement.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and computer experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview incoming patients or representatives to obtain and record necessary information for registration.
• Distribute copies to appropriate departments.
• Obtain signed statements and consents.
• Ensure precertification has been obtained for outpatient services when applicable.
• Provide relief to switchboard operators and lobby managers.
