Surepoint ER seeks a patient-centered customer service representative to greet and register patients, verify insurance, and communicate financial responsibilities. You will enter demographic data accurately and handle money transactions with care in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in customer service, maintain BLS, and work well in a team. Flexibility for day/evening/weekend shifts and strong people skills are required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of customer service experience.
• Maintain current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Strong team player and ability to work under pressure.
• Flexibility with schedule including day, evening and weekend hours.
• Basic math and accurate money handling.

Responsabilités

• Stand up and greet patients, register and provide general assistance with superior service.
• Accurate data entry of demographic and financial information.
• Verify and communicate insurance eligibility and patient financial responsibility.
• Collect co-pays, co-insurance and deductibles; set up payment plans.
• Answer phones, take messages and return voicemails.
• Provide medical records per patient request following HIPAA guidelines.
• Assist in an emergency by performing CPR and document as needed.
• Basic typing and computer proficiency.
