Surepoint ER in Richardson, TX is seeking a Customer Service Associate to support patients, providers and payers with accurate data entry, insurance verification and courteous service.

You will handle demographic and financial information, collect co-pays, and maintain HIPAA guidelines, CPR, and BLS credentials while delivering calm, efficient support in a fast-paced environment. The role requires flexibility with day, evening and weekend hours and a strong team approach.

Qualificações

• 1–2 years of customer service experience.
• Strong team player with good communication.
• Maintain current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment.
• Basic typing and math skills.
• Experience with data entry and cash handling.
• Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and assist patients; provide superior customer service.
• Accurate data entry of demographic and financial info.
• Verify insurance eligibility and explain patient responsibilities.
• Collect co-pays/coinsurance and set up payment plans.
• Answer phones and return voicemails.
• Provide medical records to providers and patients on request.
• Assist in emergencies by performing CPR and maintaining BLS.
• Basic typing and computer proficiency.
• Flexibility to work days/evenings/weekends.
• Operate office equipment (printer/copier/fax).
