Qualifications

• 1–2 years of customer service experience.
• Strong team player with ability to work in a high-pressure setting.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Basic typing and computer proficiency.
• Accurate data entry of demographics and financial info.
• Ability to verify insurance eligibility and explain patient financial responsibility.
• Flexibility with day/evening/weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Stand up and greet patients and families with superior customer service.
• Accurately enter demographic and financial information into the system.
• Verify insurance eligibility and explain financial responsibilities.
• Collect co-pays, co-insurance, and setup payment plans.
• Answer phones and return voicemails professionally.
• Provide medical records as requested while complying with HIPAA.
• Perform CPR and document as needed.
• Operate office equipment and troubleshoot issues.
