Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, register them, and provide general assistance with superior service
• Data entry of demographic and financial information into computer systems
• Verify insurance eligibility and communicate patient financial responsibilities
• Collect co-pays, co-insurance, and set up payment plans
• Answer phones, take messages, and return voicemails with a positive attitude
• Provide medical records per patient request while following HIPAA guidelines
• Assist in emergencies and perform CPR as needed and document accordingly
• Demonstrate basic typing and computer proficiency
• Work independently and as part of a team in a high-pressure environment
• Maintain schedule flexibility including day, evening, and weekend hours
• Operate office equipment and troubleshoot minor issues
