Qualifications

• Minimum one year of customer service experience or one year in a healthcare setting.
• Must successfully complete required training within two attempts.
• Strong computer and typing skills.
• Ability to interact with a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients over the phone or in person to collect demographic, insurance, and scheduling information.
• Verify referrals and authorizations and ensure accuracy of appointment details.
• Scan and manage insurance cards and regulatory forms for accurate records.
• Determine and communicate patient financial responsibilities and estimates.
• Maintain registration accuracy and support scheduling workflow.
