Lehigh Valley Health Network, Inc. is seeking a Registration Specialist to coordinate patient registration, verify insurance, and schedule visits.

The role involves interviewing patients by phone and in person to gather demographic, insurance, and clinical information, ensuring accurate data and smooth patient flow. You will educate patients on financial responsibilities, determine estimated costs, and help connect them with financial resources.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of Customer service experience or 1 year in a healthcare environment.
• Proficiency with computer systems and typing.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate patient registration, insurance verification, and scheduling.
• Interview patients by phone and in person to gather demographic, insurance, and clinical information.
• Ensure orders and appointments are complete and correctly matched.
• Scan insurance cards, scripts, patient IDs, and regulatory forms accurately.
• Educate patients about financial responsibilities and collect out-of-pocket fees.
