Responsibilities

• Interviews patients using open-ended questions to obtain demographics and insurance information.
• Coordinates patient scheduling and ensures accuracy of referring providers' orders.
• Obtains new orders prior to tests or treatments when needed.
• Scans insurance cards and relevant documentation accurately.
• Collects patient financial responsibility estimates and facilitates financial counseling as needed.
• Maintains registration accuracy and supports department workflow.
