Behavioral Health Group (BHG) is seeking a Patient Registration Coordinator to be the friendly face greeting patients and visitors. You will register and verify demographic and insurance details, explain benefits, and collect copays, ensuring accurate daily financial processing.

The role is full-time and on-site with a 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM schedule, offering comprehensive benefits, growth opportunities, and certification support within a large network focused on recovery services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of general office clerk experience with basic math, accounting and cash handling.
• Valid driver’s license and front desk/billing experience preferred.
• Experience in healthcare settings and ability to verify insurance.

Responsibilities

• Register new and returning patients and verify demographic, insurance and ID information.
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits and prior authorizations for patient understanding.
• Explain insurance benefits and financial responsibilities with empathy.
• Collect patient payments and process daily financial transactions accurately.
• Answer incoming calls and provide helpful, compassionate support.
• Maintain patient privacy and support regulatory compliance.
