Behavioral Health Group (BHG) is seeking a Patient Registration Coordinator to greet patients, verify IDs and insurance, manage accounts, and perform essential clerical tasks in a busy clinic. The role reports to the Program Director or Office Manager and supports accurate financial processing and patient flow.

Key duties include insurance checks, fee collection, appointment scheduling, and maintaining secure funds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of general office clerk experience with basic math and cash handling.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience in front desk, admissions, billing, and/or collections.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist all individuals entering the treatment center.
• Verify patient identification and program participation.
• Manage patient accounts and collect fees (copays, deductibles, coinsurance).
• Verify insurance eligibility and authorization.
• Prepare and send monthly statements when applicable.
• Maintain chart monitoring system and census forms.
• Cover reception desk during dispensing hours and schedule intakes.
