You will verify demographics and insurance, explain coverage, and support daily office operations to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Role requires strong front desk and cash handling skills, with a focus on empathy, privacy, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of general office clerk experience with basic math, accounting skills, and cash handling experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience in front desk, admissions, billing, and/or collections.

Responsibilities

• Register new and returning patients and verify demographic, insurance, and identification information.
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and prior authorizations.
• Clearly explain insurance benefits, financial responsibilities, and payment expectations with empathy.
• Collect patient payments, including copays, deductibles, and coinsurance, and process daily financial transactions.
• Answer incoming phone calls promptly and provide helpful, compassionate support.
• Maintain patient privacy and ensure regulatory compliance.
