Job summary

Behavioral Health Group (BHG) seeks a Patient Registration Coordinator to warmly welcome patients and register new and returning patients, verifying demographics, insurance eligibility, and authorizations as needed.

The role includes explaining benefits, collecting payments, and supporting front-desk operations. Schedule: Mon-Fri 5:00AM–1:00PM with rotating Saturday shifts; pay is $15.00 per hour plus bonus structure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience as a general office clerk with basic math, accounting skills, and cash handling experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience in front desk, admissions, billing, and/or collections.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and verify demographics, insurance, and identification information.
• Explain insurance benefits and financial responsibilities to patients.
• Collect patient payments and process daily transactions accurately.
• Answer calls and provide compassionate support while protecting patient privacy.
• Prepare weekly reports and maintain accurate records.
