Behavioral Health Group (BHG) is seeking a Patient Registration Coordinator in Westminster, CO. The role involves greeting patients, verifying IDs and insurance, and managing patient accounts.

You will handle copays, deductibles, and coinsurance while maintaining organized intake and registration workflows. Reporting to the Program Director or Office Manager, you will perform clerical duties, schedule intakes, manage the Central Registry, and assist with census forms while upholding

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are needed.
• Accurate data entry and basic keyboarding abilities are required.
• Experience in healthcare front desk, admissions, billing or collections is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients entering the clinic.
• Verify patient identification and insurance information.
• Manage patient accounts and collect payments (copays, deductibles, coinsurance).
• Verify insurance eligibility and authorization; communicate status to patients.
• Perform daily and weekly insurance eligibility checks and generate reports.
• Maintain secure handling of clinic funds and prepare financial reports.
• Schedule appointments and admissions with physicians; oversee reception during dispensing hours.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain confidentiality.
