Job summary

Allina Health seeks a Clinic Business Representative Associate to warmly welcome patients at in-person or phone check-in, delivering accurate, efficient registration that sets the tone for quality care. You will collect demographic and insurance data and enter it into the EMR, while assisting with telephone encounters and addressing billing questions.

You will also help maintain a welcoming lobby, manage co-pays, schedule appointments as needed, and support office communications.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description
• Minimum 1 year computer knowledge

Responsibilities

• Greets, welcomes, and performs the registration process with patients in person or by phone
• Collects demographic and insurance information and enters into the EMR
• Assists patients with telephone encounters and answers questions regarding financial assistance programs
• Maintains the patient care lobby and restocks supplies, handles calls and messages as needed
• Performs End of Day reconciliation and may participate in prescription refill process as appropriate
