Allina Health Surgical Specialists Minneapolis is seeking a Clinic Business Representative to warmly greet patients, collect demographics and insurance details, and register them accurately for in-person or phone-based visits.

You will navigate the EMR system, review MyChart appointments, and coordinate scheduling while providing essential front-desk support in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of computer knowledge including working with an electronic medical record and Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook) required; Excel preferred.
• 2+ years of customer service, clerical, or business environment experience in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Greets, welcomes, and registers patients in person or by phone using appropriate tools and procedures.
• Collects demographic and insurance information and enters data into the electronic medical record.
• Reviews MyChart appointments for accuracy and follow-up; manages reschedule reports.
• Manages and organizes the clinic lobby and supports office communication tasks.
• Performs End of Day reconciliation and assists with prescription refill processes as appropriate.
