Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Clinic Business Representative Associate to greet patients and perform the standard registration process at in-person appointments or via phone, ensuring accurate demographic and insurance data entry into the EMR.

You will collect co-pays, answer questions about financial assistance, maintain the lobby area, support department communications, and participate in staff meetings with a typical 1.0 FTE schedule and no weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description
• Minimum 1 year computer knowledge

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in person or by phone and complete the registration process
• Collect co-pays and/or remaining balances; obtain signatures and answer questions about financial assistance
• Manage and organize the patient care lobby and provide other department support
• May schedule appointments or assist with office communication needs
• Perform weekly downtime checks and participate in staff meetings
