Job summary

Allina Health seeks a Clinic Business Representative Associate to welcome patients and manage efficient registrations at in-person appointments or via phone. You’ll collect demographics and insurance details and enter them into the EMR system, ensuring a smooth start to each patient’s care journey.

You’ll also assist with calls, engage in de-escalation when needed, manage co-pays, and support lobby organization and daily tasks in a busy clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description.
• Minimum 1 year computer knowledge.
• Experience in healthcare setting is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and register them in person or by phone.
• Collect demographics and insurance information.
• Assist with telephone inquiries and direct to appropriate staff.
• Perform end-of-day reconciliation and handle payments.
• Maintain lobby cleanliness and prepare materials.
