Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description.
• Minimum 1 year computer knowledge.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook).
• Customer service, clerical, or other business office environment experience.
• Medical terminology knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greets, welcomes, and performs the registration process with patients in person or by phone.
• Collects demographic and insurance information and enters data into the EMR.
• Assists patients with telephone encounters and supports lobby operations.
• Collects co-pays and remaining balances and responds to questions about financial assistance.
