Allina Health is seeking a friendly patient registration specialist in Minnesota. You will greet patients, collect demographic and financial data, and enter information into the EMR. You will verify benefits, explain costs, and assist with scheduling while maintaining accuracy in documentation.

The role requires 2–5 years of revenue cycle and customer service experience, with 0–2 years in general office work. 24 hours per week, day/evening shifts, and every other weekend are included.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of revenue cycle experience.
• 2 to 5 years of customer service experience.
• 0 to 2 years of general office experience.
• 0 to 2 years of experience using computers including an electronic medical record, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at registration.
• Collect demographic and financial data; enter into EMR.
• Check in patients and direct to appointments.
• Verify eligibility and benefits; explain costs and collect payments.
• Assist in scheduling add-ons and document issues in EMR.
• Support accounts in work queues and help gather record information.
