Capital Health is seeking a Patient Reception Representative for the Quakerbridge Primary Care practice. The role is full-time, day shift, and involves greeting patients, scheduling, registration, and cash handling in a HIPAA-compliant environment.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma, 1 year in a healthcare receptionist role or customer service, and strong communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected; medical office certification is a plus.

Competenze

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: One year as receptionist or clerk in healthcare or customer service.
• Knowledge: Medical terminology, ICD-10 and CPT codes.
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certification: Medical assistant or medical office technician preferred.
• Training: Proficient computer skills; basic Microsoft Office.

Mansioni

• Answer telephones promptly and courteously, routing calls to the appropriate area.
• Schedule and cancel appointments; schedule outpatient tests and surgeries.
• Prepare for the day, review eligibility and phone reports; prepare new patient charts.
• Greet patients and visitors professionally; inform them of privacy policies and any delays.
• Perform registration to ensure accurate demographic and insurance information; collect co-pays and balances.
• Refer patients to appropriate staff for past due balances; review notes and worklists.
• Verify charges/claims at check-out; run Day End Review reports; manage follow-ups.
• Perform other clerical duties; may be assigned to other Capital Health Medical Group Practices.
