Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1 year in healthcare receptionist or customer service.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and coding (ICD-10/CPT).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; basic Excel knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Answers telephones promptly and courteously, routing calls appropriately.
• Schedules and cancels appointments per office guidelines; books tests.
• Greets patients and visitors professionally and informs on privacy policies.
• Registers patients; verifies demographic and insurance information.
• Collects co-pays and balances; handles check-in and check-out processes.
• Ensures HIPAA compliance and maintains accurate charting and notes.
